How do I edit my images?
Once you are done uploading your images to the albums, you can edit them by
clicking on the selected image first and then clicking on Adjust
Picture next. Two
action tool bars will appear on the right side of the screen –
Basic Editing
and Advanced Editing. ApplePrints' basic editing tools will allow you to
rotate, flip, crop and fix red eyes. Advanced editing tools will allow you to
convert pictures to black and white, change lightness of the picture, change
contrast of the picture and much more.
Rotate picture - Click on the picture. Action bar will appear on the right
side of the screen. Click on Adjust picture button. Tool bar will appear at
the right side of the screen. You can rotate your picture clockwise or counter
clockwise by clicking on Rotate symbols.
Flip picture - Click on the picture. Action bar will appear on the right side
of the screen. Click on Adjust picture button. Tool bar will appear at the
right side of the screen. You can flip your picture vertically or horizontally
by clicking on Flip symbols.
Crop picture - When you are taking your pictures, the dimensions of your
images may not always be the same as the standard print sizes that are
available for print. Therefore, all prints get cropped (trimmed) before being
printed so they can fit to the paper size. If you want to make sure that
important details of the image located close to the edge do not get cut off,
you can crop your images yourself by clicking on Crop symbol and selecting
Printing size, Orientation, and Position Adjustment option.
How do I rename my pictures?
Click on the picture. Action bar will appear at the right side of the screen.
Click on Edit Title button.
Picture Name box will appear at the right
side. Type new title and click on Check symbol located at the bottom of the action
bar.
Can I add a description to my pictures?
Yes. Click on the picture. Action bar will appear at the right side of the
screen. Click on Edit Title button.
Description box will appear at the right
side. Type a description (up to 255 characters) and click on
Check symbol
to save.
Will I be able to restore my original picture after editing is done to it?
We always save your original picture. All the changes and enhancements can be
reversed. Click on the picture. Action bar will appear at the right side of
the screen. Click on Adjust picture button. The thumbnail of original picture
will appear at the left side of the screen. You can restore your original
picture by clicking on the thumbnail.
How do I copy or move pictures between my albums?
Step 1: Click on View pictures
link (the link is located at the top of the
screen).
Step 2: Select an album.
Step 3: Select an image that you want to copy or move by checking the
box located under the thumbnail. If you want to copy or move all images from
the page, click on select all. Likewise, you have an option to unselect all
images, by clicking on unselect all.
Step 4: Click on Copy/Move
selected pictures link. On the left side, you will
see the names of the selected pictures. Selected target album. Chose
Move or Copy.
Then click
Finish button.
How do I delete a picture?
Click on View pictures link (the link is located at the top of the screen).
Select images that you want to delete. If you want to delete all images from
the album, click on select all. Likewise, you have the option to unselect all
images, by clicking on unselect all. Then click on
Delete selected pictures
link. Selected pictures will be deleted permanently from your ApplePrints
account.
