What is sharing?
ApplePrints provides you with the opportunity to share your photos with
friends and relatives online. There is no fee for sharing; it is one of the
FREE benefits that you can enjoy as a member of our service. The basic
objective of sharing is to allow your friends and family to view your selected
pictures and, if they would like to, order prints (at no cost to you) for
themselves.
Will I be charged if people I share my pictures with want to order prints?
Absolutely not! You will not be charged for sharing your pictures nor for
the printing. If your recipient wants to order prints of your pictures, he or
she can do it at no cost to you.
When I share my pictures with my friends and relatives, will they be able
to see my other albums?
The recipients of your invitation E-mail will only be able to view pictures in
the share folder that you have selected from your albums.
Please tell me how can I share my photos and albums step-by step.
Step 1: Select pictures
Click on Share Online link (the link is located at the top of the screen). If
you have pictures previously added to your Share Online card, you will see
your selections with the option to add more pictures or to change your
previous selection. If your Share Online card is empty, click on
Add Pictures
to your Shared Folder link, which will bring you to the screen, where you can
select pictures from all of your albums. You can select images from different
albums by repeating Step 1. Select images that you want to share by checking
the box located under the thumbnail. If you want to share all images from the
album, click on select all. Likewise, you have the option to unselect all
images, by clicking on unselect all. Then click on
Next button.
Step 2: Share Recipient
Please invite a share recipient by clicking on Invite a Share Recipient to
View Your Pictures. You can select multiple recipients' E-mail
addresses at the same time.
Step 3: Write a message
You may use ApplePrints’ standardized invitation with your E-mail and also add a
personalize message, greeting or instruction to your recipients.
Step 4: Share notification
Once you are ready to share, simply click on Share my
Pictures button. Your recipient
will get an E-mail from ApplePrints with the link to your share pictures.
Can anybody other than my recipient view shared pictures?
No, the share notification E-mail will be sent directly to your recipient and
will not be available to anybody else. However, the people you are sharing
with may copy your pictures to their ApplePrints’ account and choose to share
your pictures with other people or order prints (at no cost to you) for
themselves. It is your responsibility to instruct your recipients of what they
may or may not do with your pictures. ApplePrints protects your privacy and
the copyrights of your pictures while they are stored on our website. Once you
have shared your pictures with other people, ApplePrints can’t control whether
or not your privacy or copyrights are protected.
I am a recipient of the share pictures. What do I do?
After you receive an E-mail inviting you to view share pictures, simply click
on the link and you will be able to view the pictures. If you would like to
order prints, you will need to open an account with ApplePrints first. All of
our services, including opening an account, uploading of CDs, editing of
images, and sharing of the pictures, are absolutely free of charge. We only
charge you for the actual printing of your pictures. For help on the printing
process and our prices, please see printing link in the
Help Center. Once you
open an account with us, you will be able to save your friend’s pictures into
your album.
